Short History Of Human-Computer Interaction

The history of human-computer interaction is a gradual cross-training between the two. Humans train computers to solve increasingly complex problems while learning from their own experience. Computers train humans to communicate in increasingly abstract languages while offloading routine tasks to machines.

A gradual cross-training: humans teaching computers, computers teaching humans.
